With the help of a video you will focus on how teamwork can affect individuals. You will also examine the results of your Team Roles Questionnaire & determine how you can build a whole team of strengths & develop your role as the shaper or supporter of your team.

Prior to the course you will be asked to complete two questionnaires: “Team Roles” & “Influencing Skills”. The Team Roles questionnaire will help you establish your preferred & natural team role skills. You will focus not on what you can't do, but rather on what you do best – & discover how you can achieve more by working to your own strengths. The Influencing Skills questionnaire will enable you to understand the six key influencing skills & to measure your own success in applying them.

Jane Allan began her career as a bilingual secretary and later became a partner in a firm of chartered accountants. During this time she was one of the first two women ever elected to the council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Since 1981 she has run her own successful training business. Jane has extensive experience delivering skills training to executive secretaries and managers. She also writes for leading publications and is the author of a number of management books.

The course reflects Jane’s concern for practical learning which delivers long-lasting results. You will find it both intensive and enjoyable, and will benefit from the opportunity to share ideas and experiences with your peers both informally and during “hands-on” exercises.

Did you know, this course can be tailored just for your team?

We have a team of consultants working on tailoring our programmes for our clients, to suit their specific requirements. We work closely with clients, as part of the development process, to focus on the business issues that surround the training; this is to design programmes that focus entirely on helping our clients improve their business performance.
