Performance Coaching

Coaching can be one of the most effective ways to increase personal performance and bring about lasting change. In recent times there has been a dramatic shift away from dictatorial-style management practices to a much more coaching / facilitative approach. Coaching allows you to work with individuals or groups to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need – far more effective than simply telling someone what to do. When combined with good management practices, coaching can help shift the performance of your people. There are many facets to IIR’s coaching services:

  • Coaching can be used in conjunction with training interventions to ensure the benefits of training really transfer into the business – often used to reinforce the key learning points of a course
  • Coaching can be used to help individuals with specific business needs that need to be addressed
  • Group coaching plays an essential role in business transformation projects
  • Senior executive coaching is utilised extensively to help senior leadership develop their skills and knowledge around the hectic schedules and in a confidential way

Every manager needs to have coaching skills, yet very few seldom do and coaching skills are not developed by accident. Sadly, these managers (and organisations) are missing out on one of the best performance tools that exist. Coaching can really transform the results you see from teams and individuals – it requires effort, but the results can be outstanding.

Once again, our coaching interventions are completely aligned to the needs of each client. No two programmes are the same and we will build a framework from the ground up that is right for your people and your organisation.

We’d be happy to discuss the ways that coaching could benefit your organisation.
