PRE-COURSE EVALUATION

Prior to the course you will be asked to complete two questionnaires: "Team Roles" and "Influencing Skills".

The Team Roles Questionnaire will help you establish your preferred and natural team role skill. You will focus not on what you can't do, but rather on what you do best - and discover how you can achieve more by working to your own strengths.

The Influencing Skills Questionnaire will enable you to understand the six key influencing skills and to measure your own success in applying them.

Your Personal Action Plan

Course Leader

Jane Allan began her career as a bilingual secretary and later became a partner in a firm of chartered accountants. During this time she was one of the first two women ever elected to the council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Jane has extensive experience delivering skills training to executive secretaries and managers. She also writes for leading publications and is the author of a number of management books. She therefore has an in-depth understanding of the problems and challenges faced by PAs and executive secretaries based both on her experiences at the "sharp end" and as a result of her training and development work with a wide range of leading companies.
